2024 Black Liberation Grant Award Honorees

For 2024 the Philadelphia Black Giving Circle and Network (PBGCN), elevated organizations seeking to uplift Black communities, highlight liberatory practices and Black joy through the Black Liberation Grant Fund. We are pleased to announce 4 grantees for this Fund, totaling $40,000. Each organization received a $10,000 general operating support and given the opportunity to share more about their work.

OH are committed to dismantling systemic barriers faced by historically marginalized youth, enabling them to realize their full potential, while actively pursuing food justice within their communities.

The Philly Black Worker Project (The Project) utilizes collective action, policy change and community power-building to win quality jobs, reduce employment discrimination, and improve working conditions in industries that employ significant amounts of Black workers.
